👉 What is the Michelin Grand Prix of aviation ?

The Michelin Aviation Award is a prize of 100,000 francs awarded to the first aviator to fly from Paris to the top of the Puy de Dôme, circling Clermont-Ferrand Cathedral in less than 6 hours in an aircraft with two occupants.

👉 110 years anniversary

Though the Grand Prix was created in 1908, the first race was not until 1911, when Eugene Renaux and his passenger Albert Senouque won the prize by making the flight in 5.10.
