Our partner Aviation Sans Frontières is decorated with the Aeronautic Medal

October, 9, at Le Bourget, in the prestigious MAE – The Air and Space Museum, our partner Aviation Sans Frontières has been awarded the Aeronautic Medal to thank the value of all volunteers and related partners involved in the NGO humanitarian actions.

This distinction, awarded by Patrick Gandil, former Director of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGAC) is a strong symbol for everyone, to reward the great commitment in the NGO missions, such as accompanying children in emergency care or helping repatriate refugees, in these particular times of health crisis and in any other difficult context.

A partnership to unit our hearts and spread our wings

As Michelin Aircraft, we are very proud to have attended this ceremony with our Aviation Sans Frontières teams. We warmly thank all the people of the humanitarian organization for this beautiful moment of meeting and exchange. This is an invitation for all of us to continue our actions, to work together, to approach a better world and help the world to fly.

The Aeronautic Medal decoration

The Aeronautic Medal rewards “the professional value of civilian and military personnel, both flying and non-flying, under the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Tourism, as well as the merit of citizens who have distinguished themselves in the development of civil or military aviation, air sports, aeronautical construction factories and airports.
