Mélanie has just become the new French woman Champion in aerobatics during the competition held in Chateauroux from 16 to 20 september.
She competed against men and finished in sixth place. But she finished as first woman in the competition aboard her Extra 330 F-HMEL plane. “What an honor to be 6th overall surrounded by world and european champions of the discipline.”
She won the title with a great score of 78,7% at the end of 3 programs, 2 of which were unknown. “What happens to me today is just huge, it’s the result of hours of work in the shadows for my team and me. I continue to work now. Next objective: the French Open and in the longer term the 2021 international championships.”
